Julie Coleclough

My love of food started at an early age as my Grandfather was a master Pastry Chef so we got to try out lots of wonderful cakes and desserts on Sunday afternoons. Inspired by this, I had several jobs in catering – ranging from making cakes & croissants through to pork pies - to supplement the meagre income of a musician during the mid 80s.

In the 90s, I started messing about in dinghies and small yachts in Chichester Harbour then became completely hooked on sailing after racing in a corporate regatta. Now a Commercial Yachtmaster and RYA Instructor, I'm equally happy cruising, exploring new places, racing and cooking for these different occasions.

When I’m not sailing or writing about food, I run Knowledge Consulting Ltd and work with clients to help them connect their people, knowledge and information for business benefit.
